ON AUGUST 26, 2017 HURRICANE HARVEY MADE LANDFALL IN HOUSTON. IN THE WAKE OF THE STORM REEF WAS SLIGHTLY DERAILED BY FLOOD DAMAGE THROUGOUT OUR DINING ROOM, BAR AND PRIVATE DINNING ROOMS. BUT NOT FOR LONG... DURING THE MONTHS AFTER THE STORM, OUR CREW UNITED WITH HUNDREDS OF VOLUNTEERS TO HELP FEED AN ESTIMATED 800,000+ HOUSTONIANS AND OTHER COASTAL COMMUNIITIES LIKE ROCKPORT AND PORT ARTHUR.

NOW, AS WE COMPLETE THE RENOVATION, WE ARE REBUILDING OUR TEAM AND ARE SEEKING LIKE MINDED HUMANS TO JOIN US AT REEF 2.0 – REEF'S NEWLY APPOINTED NICKNAME.

Manager

Assist the general manager in implementing REEF'S policies & procedures while leading team members and providing a genuine standard of hospitality.

What We're Looking For

01.  Knowledgable of expected service standards & is able to assist the GM with new employee training.

02.  Enthusiastically strives to achieve revenue objectives & implements strategies to improve sales.

03.  Assists GM to ensure team members remain compliant & current with local, state & federal laws.

04.  Exhibits exceptional organization, interpersonal communication and leadership skills.

Host(ess)

Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests by welcoming and warmly greeting guests upon arrival.

What We're Looking For

01. Warmly and graciously greet all guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas.

02. Assign guests to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate number of seating’s.

03. Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries or transfer calls as necessary.

04. Maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and guests to ensure that dining details are handled properly, and customers’ concerns are addressed.

Server

Responsible for establishing friendly relationships with our guests & ensuring they enjoy genuine and authentic service throughout their dining experiences while being able to educate them on our offerings.

What We're Looking For

01. Suggest appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and specials.

02. Work closely with management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience.

03. Knowledgable of our menu & able to make plate and beverage pairing suggestions to our guests based on their needs.

04. Ensure that orders are accurately entered into the POS & brought to each table in a timely manner.

Bartender

Provide timely, accurate & friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages ensuring that guests will have such a marvelous time, they will want to return ASAP.

What We're Looking For

01. Present drink menus, make recommendations & answer questions regarding beverages & cuisine.

02. Attempt to limit problems and liability related to guests’ excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading guests to stop drinking, or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated guests.

03. Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, & bitters to prepare & serve alcoholic (& non-alcoholic) drinks consistent with REEF'S standard drink recipes.

04. Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from guests seated at the bar and accept guest payment, process credit card charges, and make change if necessary.
